Review:

First, I have to say is that this a very consistent show and probably one of the best shows on Lifetime right now. In this emotional season the wives prepare to leave Fort Marshall and have to struggle with living separate lives. However, a storm hits the town so their plans are put on hold. In this season more relationships are put the test as Nicole notices a disturbing change in Frank. Another plot is about Joan and Roland are embroiled in a controversy involving their newly adopted son. There's even a new wife Jackie, an old friend of Nicole, who gets on the wrong side of Claudia Joy. Despite all of this drama, the bonds between these wives will be tested to the max this season.***

My real gripe with this DVD box set is that there are only half of the episodes from the sixth season. None of the previous sets have done this, so I have no idea why they would do this now.***

Audio and Video: This is a DVD set, so you're not going to get high definition sound and visuals like you would on Blu-ray. It's acceptable for a TV series DVD release, but nothing special.***

Special Features:

Unfortunately, the only features are bloopers. It's disappointing considering that there are so many good elements to this show. ***

Final Words:

This is a good show, but I think splitting up the season is a bad idea. It's a rip-off and it makes fans angry. Part 2 of the sixth season is being released later this year, but I would just wait for the full season release.***
