Gnomeo & Juliet re-tells the age-old Shakespearean love story: Two youths from feuding families begin a forbidden love doomed for failure. Leaden with the musical talents of legend Sir Elton John, who also produced the film; it is a modern adaptation with a twist, to be appreciated for children and adults of all ages. Modernized for the current audience, Gnomeo & Juliet updates the language, cartoonizes the characters, adds humor, and combines children’s storytelling with adult humor.***
